Pogba was shockingly left out of the nomination for the Player Of the Month
Despite having a good spell of games in the month of August, Paul Pogba wasn’t nominated for the player of the month award.
But not just the Frenchman, Ole Solskjaer was also left out for the manager of th month award although his appeared more logical.
Having already voiced his opinion on the incident, Pogba has just received a weird kind of message from his boss.
Pogba was mostly used in the left flank of a three man attacking midfield and managed to provide 4 assists in their game against Leeds United.
Considering the fact that he has been a major pick for United’s midfield line, Solskjaer’s comment about the Player of The Month incident seems weird.
Speaking on the issue, Solskjaer said of Pogba; “Yes, no one can doubt the he performed convincingly.
“His assists helped the team very well but I personally think the decision by the board isn’t wrong.
“They are experienced with deciding this and I believe they have good reasons for not including Paul.
“Paul can do more to be included in the listing next month if he really cares about it.
“For now, he isn’t there and that means he didn’t do well enough.”
Man United will take on the Magpies when the clubs return from international break and Pogba will be hoping to be in line for action as Solskjaer aims to get back to winning ways.
