Manchester United have finally revealed their player of the month
The Red Devils after having nominated several names have finally named their player of the month.
Having seen the votes come through, United have picked Mason Greenwood as the August Player Of The Month.
The Youth has started out this season in a blazing form, bagging goals in all of Man United’s games for the month of August.
From a stunning goal against Leeds United to net a helping goal against Southampton before firing in the only goal in the clash against Leeds United.
Receiving 66% of the total votes casted between him and other nominees who happened to be Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes, Greenwood was named the best performer for the month of August.
Speaking on the achievement, Man United’s manager, Ole Solskjaer said; “The way he has developed the last couple of seasons, you can see the way he burst away on that second goal, I think that is a man compared to a boy that was in the first-team two years ago.
“I like what he has done in pre-season. He has worked so hard to get his fitness and he is ready to go.”
Paul Pogba finished second with 24% of the votes ahead of Bruno Fernandes who got 10% of the votes.
