If there is any unhappy player at Old Trafford then it’s Donny Van de Beek who has seen less game time
The former Ajax man despite being a top talented midfielder has been reduced to less game time since joining us the Red Devils.
The 24-year-old has only participated in 19 league games which he has managed to find the back of the net once.
Last summer was one which almost saw Donny Van de Beek make an exit trip out of Old Trafford but according to a surprising claim by Top Transfer Agent, Fabrizio Romano; United had blocked his exit move.
“They [Man United] wanted him [Donny Van de Beek] to stay, but Everton were really close. Benitez wanted him, the whole board wanted him, so it was more than an idea,” Fabrizio said on his HereWeGo podcast.
“It was a done deal between Everton and Donny van de Beek, but Manchester United said no.”
Blocking a move that could have seen him leave Old Trafford only means the club still has him in the project plan.
But Ole Solskjaer’s actions spell otherwise which the player possibly won’t interpret aright and would actually push for exit by January.
