Rudiger is strongly linked to a Chelsea exit move with Bayern Munich lined up as a possible destination
The Blues have seen one of their contract extension talks stall due to failure to reach agreement so far despite the importance of the said player in the current squad.
Rudiger was close to leaving Chelsea during Frank Lampard’s era as he was fizzled out of the front page with Lampard having zero use of him in his squad.
But with Tuchel arriving, Chelsea saw Rudiger back into the squad and was even made a major pillar in the squad which is why it’s understandable looking at how Tuchel has reacted to the news of his possible departure.
With Rudiger having now admitted interests from his Country League side, its no hidden thing that Bayern Munich are pushing to see they land the 28-year-old.
The German also disclosed he feels honored to be wanted by such a team as it only tells how important he has become over the years.
In reaction to the recent happenings, Thomas Tuchel said; “I hope that they find a solution but it’s not only between coaches and players.”
“So give things time – sometimes it needs a bit longer, sometimes things get very fast. There’s no news from my side.”
“For Rudiger, he knows the team still needs him and he is loved here in the squad. We win games and play together. Am not sure he even wants to think of leaving now.”
