The Argentine saw hell of a career during his spell as United number 7
Inheriting Cristiano Ronaldo’s number at Man United wasn’t an easy task for Angel Di Maria who ended up leaving the club as a failure.
The 33-year-old only managed to net 3 goals in 27 games for United before making the exit trip to help find himself.
Many already know well enough of Di Maria’s career at United as a total failure but the player has taken his jab back at the club and the number 7 ‘cursed’ jersey.
Speaking on his failed career at the club and the number 7 ‘cursed’ jersey, Di Maria; “I didn’t give a f*** about the mufc No 7, at first they talked to me a lot about it… it was just a shirt. My problem at Manchester was the coach.”
“Van Gaal was the worst [coach] of my career. I would score, assist, and the next day he would show me my misplaced passes. He displaced me from one day to the other, he didn’t like players being more than him.”
Leaving United to PSG has helped the winger rediscover his form and has so far made 173 league appearances for the Parisians since arriving in 2015 and netted 52 goals.
